something more adorable: my grandma, who has always said she'll never get a pet, recently took in an old black lab. I find this awesome and want to go see it once the weather isn't horrid. i'm sure it'll turn into, at the least, the happiest and fattest thing on the planet with how she feeds... everyone.

This state's fail has gone up about a million points these past few years. Get out freezing rain/ice.

... less scared, more terrified, honestly. this stuff is bad on so many levels.

Every night when the sun went down
in the town where we live
the empty streets were lit up
by reflected light
from a distant sun
bouncing off a glowing ball of rock.
We just lied on the roof and watched
the moon.
The moon!
The blue light of the moon!
We didn't talk and silently we both felt powerful.
Like the moon my chest was full
because we both knew we're just floating in the same space over molten rock
and we felt safe and discovered that our skin is soft.
There's nothing left except certain death
and that was comforting under the moon.

I went out last night to forget that.
I went out and stared it down
but the moon just stared back at me
and in its light I saw my two feet on the ground.

LOL FML. But after said ~disappointment~, we went to dinner and a couple stores. I officially love Cavenders, idek. I can actually TALK to people there, idk why, but it's. Nice. Knowing i'm not totally socially retarded.

Self-esteem boost? Not really. But... yeah, it's nice.

Oh my goddd fuck last night, man. Nothing severe but RAIN/THUNDER/LIGHTNING FOREVER. lol I could not sleep. Hopefully it's not like that again saturday because we might... go see a movie... since we didn't last night (because I bought a shirt that is suddenly a horrible guilty pleasure. shut up I like button-up shirts), but we've talked about it like three times now and still not gone. At least I might go see Sarah on sunday, if it's not too cold and she's not busy.
